"Helmsley Leaves Dog $12 Million in Will
NEW YORK (Aug. 29) - Leona Helmsley's dog will continue to live an opulent life, and then be buried alongside her in a mausoleum. But two of Helmsley's grandchildren got nothing from the late luxury hotelier and real estate billionaire's estate. "
Hmmm.
We think we'd prefer the Rainbow Bridge.

Aw Cmon guys. At least the lady got her priorities right this time!
Gotta give Leona points for loving her dog.

Rainbridge is good enough for me. Simba xx
OK Guys,
We think Trouble would have a lot more fun romping at a dog park and eventually running free across the Rainbow Bridge than living a pampered life and winding up in a mausoleum.
But, yeah, she did love her dog.
She was aways a stwange woman, but maybe some other doggies will benefit, I hope..I mean, how do you spend 12million on one doggie????I'd wather be with my pawents..or yours

OMDogness!! Isn't 12million a bit tooo much to be spending on one dog? I think she should have at least spent in on helping all the homeless doggies out there. This way...her dog would also have playmates to play with.
Hmmmm...if i had 12 million dollars to my name, what would I do with it? What would you do with 12 million dollars??

Chilli's comment is thought provoking. Lacie would spend it on black lipstick, black nail polish and lemon juice to add to the blond facial highlights that she so desires. Frankly, just so I have enough rawhide to keep me chewing, my needs are minimal. (Grooming is so overrated.) I wish there were a way to use it to end animal abuse. And child abuse...

THAT IS A LOT OF RAWHIDE!! THINK ABOUT IT!!! Wnough for all of us!! LoveA+A
12 million bucks? Imagine how many poor dogs will benefit if she donated it to animals' charities!

I think she must have been a little cracked! At least she loved her dog though so she can't have been all bad. J x
I like the remark she made to her grandchildren, "And you know why." I know some grandchildren who need to hear that. (Fortuanely, they are not my mom's.)
Koobuss Kisses,
