When we got to Paducah, we saw three of the waggle out for a walk -- imagine how surprised they were to see two hairy dogs with bones in their mouths!!! But once they got over their shock, they invited us in to meet the rest of the waggle and their Servant.
We could only stay a short while with the whippets and their Servant because -- guess what? -- if we're away too long we're afraid Mom will find an airedale -- or two -- to take our place since she's been looking wistfully at all our airedale pals.
But while we're on our way home, we'll be thinking about Jackson and hoping his test today has positive results.
Two foot loose and fancy free foxies! What fun!!
Hi Mom!! Hi Dogdad!! We'll be home before you can say Jake Elijah and Just Harry!!
Update: A few of our pals, having seen us in Mayemphis and Paducah with bone in mouth, subtly suggested that we may have forgotten to paw off the bones during the relay. For sure, giving up a bone is not something that a dog does lightly, so it is to all our credit -- under Lenny's fabulous guidance of course -- that the relay around the world went so smoothly. Let me reassure you though that what you are seeing in our visits to Gussie and Teka in Mayemphis and to the whippets in Paducah are Commemorative Bones not the real ones from the bone relay. Just for the record, though, I, Jake, had no trouble passing the bone off to my little brother, Just Harry. That's the kind of mature guy I am.
He, on the other paw, after running all the way from South Florida to Kansas, kind of thought it was HIS bone and teased poor little Deetzy with it for awhile. But then he pawed it over so the relay could continue. (JH still has a lot of puppy in him, as you may have figured out.)

Did you guys have a hard time passing off your bones when it was time? You sure look pretty proud of yourselves. What an honor it was to carry the bone in the first ever Paw-limpics!
Levi's mom
Jake and Just Harry,
Umm, weren't you supposed to pass on the bone as part of the Pawlimpics Relay? Or are these just the commemorative bones you were given as a memento of your participation?
Anyhow, my paws are aching just thinking of all the running you two have been up to!
Your pal,
Petey
Happy virtual travels! You sure are sociable!
I figured they were just commemorative bones but I couldn't resist teasing you a little bit. LOL Keep having fun with them. Life goes better with fun.

Again, job well done on the relay! I knew you two were selfless enough to pass along the bone when it came time. Enjoy your commemorative bones - they should not be so slobbery!
Your friend, Lenny
What fun. I wish we would have known the waggle when we lived in Kentucky then we could have met them maybe.

kentucky sure is nice this time of year, maybe I should have Tanner fly me back over there for a while!
Boyz! I only get regular old bones, not those pawlympic bones. At least I don't have to paw mine off on anyone. Sharing is hard.

We carried the bone "to infinity and beyond," well at least all through Virginia cuz we had to be home in time for supper. Shiloh wanted to eat it cuz she eats A&E (Anything and Everything). Lenny was a genius to think of the Paw-Lympics. We're looking forward to the other events cuz we're entered in few more events. We hope you guys enjoyed it too. Wasn 't it GREAT? Drool's Cool.

naaaaaaaaaaa - don't worry, guys! Your mom will never replace you! She loves you too much!
Love ya lots,
Maggie and Mitch
You sure are traveling with those bones.
A baby kangaroo is called a Joey and of couse other humans call Dad Joe, unless they call him Essex and Deacon's Dad. There a lot of people we know their dogs name but not theirs. As Dad would say, it is all the Dogs Fault because they never call their Mom or Dad by their name. The hats can be found at Target (a three hour drive for us). We are told they have Paris and Lost Wages (Las Vegas) hats too.

HI Jake and Just Harry
The Bone Relay was the best, did you see our autograph on it? Molly's were the big teeth marks and mine were a bit smaller!!!!!
Our hooman was in Mayemphis a little while ago, he loved it!!!

This bone relay is just the funniest thing! We are a bit angry that we cats didn't come up with something so fabulous!
It is very nice meeting you!
