Chasing the blues away...

Last night we all went for a long walk, starting on the golf course after all the players had finished. We had our long leads on and, while Dogdad held them and kept us from getting entangled, we chased each other round and round in perfect circles until we dropped. We rested for half a second and then started up again until we couldn't breathe. But it felt so so good. Mom had been screeching at us all day for barking at this and that and nothing -- and we needed to let our fur down and just run.
You'd think she would have had the camera with her to capture us doing what we love to do -- but no. We were pretty disappointed, but said we'd give her another chance next time -- so maybe before too long we'll actually have a little wirey action film to show you.

In the meantime, what do we have to offer instead? The fuschia bougainvilla by the front door. Orange impatiens by the front porch. A pot of succulents on the front porch table. And a frond from the Australian tree fern that Mom keeps nursing along.

So, two wire fox terriers gamboling on the golf course? Or silly flowers? What a choice!!!
Lots of wirey love,
Jake and Just Harry

Jake! Just Harry!

Oh, I'd much prefer the pictures of you two have a blast on the golf course! It sounds like you had so much fun! Make sure your human brings the camera next time, okay?

However, those flowers do look mighty tasty. Flowers always taste better than they smell.

woooooo...sounds like spring fun to me. We found a warped spot in the fence today...but muzzer spotted it just about the same time and threw her chubby little body into the breach..wish I had a camera of my own..would've been a great post.

Flowers, egads. We guess it could be worse, it could be pictures of cats.

Hope to see WTF the next time you post.

I think you need to be having words with your Mom.. I'm not against pretty flowers, quite like them actually, but given a choice I would choose pics of you guys over the flowers all day long!

love and tailwags,

Is your mom trying to earn a Dotty Old Hen award? She sounds like somebody I know.

Meanwhile, my momma is all fascinated by the plants. Go figure.

I like flowers just fine - it looks like you have some tasty ones there - but of course, there's nothing like pictures of my doggie pals to chase the blues away.

See ya!
