Heron-Cam Negotiations
We just had a long conversation with our Heron-cam to see what his rates are for a trip to NYC to check out what our folks will be doing there next week. He's wasn't so sure he wanted to leave the sunny south for a long flight to the Big Apple -- but when we told him he could check out the Hudson River and the East River and perhaps get the best view he's ever had from the top of the Empire State Building -- or even from Lady Liberty's crown -- he agreed.And then, when we told him that Ms. Asta, who loves all creatures great and small, might be able to snag him a few special fishy treats, he flapped his wings and said "I'm on it!"What a cool bird!!
In the meantime, he may be on a quick weekend trip to New Orleans to check out Gussie and Teka's folks -- crawfish anyone????Jake and Just Harry

Please tell the Heron Cam my pawrents are quite close to the river and the Quarter, great places for fishy snacks.

Hey! That bird's got long legs like me! Nobody ever compared me to a heron, though. Only a miniature horse.
