What price fame and glory?

Ah, what we aspiring actors will not do for fame and glory. Since early puppyhood, I have been known for my right ear standing up and my left ear folding down (as good foxy ears mostly do). But, given the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to appear in a dramatic scene in Beagadoon -- where Scottish tams were on right ears -- I consented to temporary cosmetic surgery.

I have been assured that this bit of pawetic license can be reversed when I resume my customary professorial duties!!!
There is, of course, a moral here: As Gilbert and Sullivan wrote in H.M.S. Pinafore -
"Things are seldom what they seem,
Skim milk masquerades as cream;
Highlows pass as patent leathers;
Jackdaws strut in peacock's feathers."
So, dear Petey et al, what about a fling with one of the G&S opawrettas???

Jake

We like the picture wearing the glasses the best. You look like a professor. Professors. Jake and J.H.

That has a good ring to it.

Hi Jake! You were great in Beagadoon, though I do like your ears better going the way they usually do. I definitely hope Petey does something like that again - it was just fantastic!

See ya!

Jake, we like your ears just the way they are naturally! We hope the temporary surgery can be reversed successfully! BTW, we just love your kilts! Will you be wearing anything under them...or will you look like the guys on Marvin's side bar?...but with fur?

How exciting that you might be making some trips to Georgia! Maybe our mom and Aunt Wendy can bring all of us doggies and meet up with you somewhere! Our mom wants to make a trip to UGA to see the veterinary school, but doesn't know when. When our pawrents both go to the "bridge", everything they own goes to UGA College of Veterinary Medicine to establish a scholarship for students who can't afford the tuition.

Please let us know when you get ready to make a trip up here and we'll see what we can work out!

Aire-hugs,
Poppy, Penny & Patches

As for the Springing, yep that's what we do every day right, sometimes vertical ones from standing..as if we need training.

What one has to do to preserve one's image!!! You look pretty darn cute both ways. We saw a GSD yesterday, a big pup, with one ear up and one down but he looked pretty silly, not adorable like you.

Woos, the OP Pack
