Betoweled and bekilted

Yesterday, for the first time in weeks and weeks, it rained. Dogdad took us out anyway for our bedtime walk and when we came home, we were greeted with Mom's usual shrieks of WET DOG!!! WET DOG!!! You'd think she'd never seen water before. But this is what we were treated to.

First me, Jake. Then Just Harry.Fortunately, we've learned to live with it. After all, she is our primary means of communication with "the internets."

So, speaking of "the internets," this morning, when we checked on our bloggie pals, what did we find? The results of a stealth kilt fitting for our very very small role in the chorus of Beagadoon.

After last night's humiliation, we felt somewhat redeemed that Ms. Lacie had managed to do us up so handsomely (even though we heard her mutter something about our being like two "aunties" always jabbering together). We're not quite sure what's under the kilts -- as long as it isn't Mom's pink turkish towel!!!

The rains have finally stopped -- so we're safe for a while. But "the season" is not too far off.

Wirey woofs,

Jake and Just Harry

Jake and Just Harry,
Did you guys miss all the excitement about our barn? Visit this link

That kind of explains it. Sigh. Very sad.

I love your muscular leggies in those kilts. And you are showing total cuteness all rub a dub dub in the towels.

We got some rain in the early morning. Now the towels are our favorite part. We get fast as fast can be by Dad to get toweled off once we are inside.

Hi Jake and Just Harry! We sure needed that rain! It was fun to have you at my beach party date with Lacie. I don't know what all the fuss was about - she's just a sweet little thing.

See ya!

You are lucky you get to go out in the rain...my Mom wouldn't let me out of the door even an inch when it rains, and this is quite often too when the monsoon season comes. *sigh*

You both look very cute in the towels and kilts! *wink*

Hope you have a great weekend!

Nice pictures of you two:) Kilts...hmm - Scottish aren't they? But you aren't Scottish Terriers, so why are you wearing them?
Let me ponder upon this for a while...

Thanks for stopping over at my blog. I am glad you like it - I haven't been very active lately - these two are trying to beat recession, and so I have to comply with certain not-so-nice rules:-(

D'you know that I can't post a comment at your blog if I use my wordpress id?

Ciao Jake and Just Harry!

Mi dispiace it's taken me soooo long to drop by and say hello to you. (I guess all the 'citement of having a bloggie has my head in a whirl!) Anyway, I am very glad to meet you both, finally!

Mia ragazza shrieks like that, too, when I get wet from rain (or -- giggle! -- mud puddles!) and chases me around with a towel. But I run fast....!!!

Great job on Beagadoon, BTW! It was fantastico!

Tanti baci!

I feel your pain! We had loads of rain.

I need one of those kilt things, though I was informed you're not supposed to wear anything underneath them. You guys do look smashing!

Don't they know that there are many wonderful smells underneath all that wetness. Why rub it all away?

Hey pals
We always get greeted with the towel when we come back wet too. We have to lift our paws and everything for the big wipe down. With four of us this does take a while hehe.
Love the Beagadoon outfits. Very fitting!

Just shout and we'll meet you at the Happy Tails dog park ... it might look like a cemetery, but we would liven it up in a second! Can you believe that when H-Mom got in the other night with Madison SOAKING WET ... Man-dad went running for a towel to dry the PRINCESS and left Mom standing there dripping. HUH?

Hello!

We love being towelled down for some strange reason. Maybe its all the nice massaging effect that comes with the towel-ing.

Nice kilts by the way ..what are those under yer kilts? Bloomers?
