Me Too, Me Too!!!

My paws haven't touched the ground since I met lovely Gabbi at the Rainbowwow Room over the weekend.

One minute I was just showing off my Fred-like moves while other couples, including Lucia and Buster, my younger brother and the elegant Princess Willow, my pals Asta Fashionista and her Gooberlove Stanny, and young Stella and Toffy danced to the romantic music -- and the irrepressible Lacie made her entrance in a flowing lavender gown.

But then, the next minute, I was alone with Gabbi, the elegant and exotic young beagle of my recent dreams, and we were exchanging wirey woofs and houndy howls and pee-mail addresses and mobile paw numbers. I hope she meant all the things she said. After all, we were in the city that never sleeps, where the champagne was flowing and everything is possible.

Could this be love? Love across the miles? Or just one of those unforgettable moments?

Only time will tell.

In the meantime, Gabbi, please send me your photo and, in all the enchantment of the moment, I forgot to ask you one important question: could your family accept another terrier-beagle romance? Or is one enough?

My Mom always says, "Life is merrier with a terrier (or two)." But then, she's kind of looney that way!

Wirey love,

Jake

Jake,

It looks like you have the wise-ish Auntie Bailey and Martha's approval. (Prepare for one of them to chaperone your first date...and if it's Auntie Bailey, she likes her wee dram...) I'll be certain to put in a good word with the Dughallmor beagle brothers as well. Gabbi's a sweetheart, though not quite the vocalist of my Rosie.

This is fantastic!

Your pal,

Petey

Ciao miei ragazzi!

Awwww, amore!!! It is the sweetest of all sweet things! (Well, except maybe for those yummy-looking donuts that Mango's papa has been giving to all of the barn helpers ... mmmm...)

Jake and Gabbi -- it just has a bellissima ring to it!

Tanti baci!

Hello Jake (and Harry),
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Ah, yes, I sees I has confused you for your brother in the pics Petey took at the rainbow room. Having not met you afore I could not tell you apart, how silly of me.

There no hard feelings on my part, Gabbi and I was only considering dating as Scooby doo's match making service said we would be a good match toghether. But I is very glad that you two will have a nice romance and find true love. I think that best as I is just a young dog myself and has only just ventured into the world of dating so is not ready to settle down yet.

I feel gladder to meet you and see that there be two of you because now I feel that Gabbi will be in good hands with you Jake. I was worried you was imposing too strict standards on my good friend. Must go get some rest now as I has a bad bout of colitis, very nice to meet the two of you. I will come by again.
