Why, here Stephi and Eric are now at the rehearsal dinner -- And here are our human brother and sister-in-law.
The restaurant, Bikkuri, is a favorite of the bride and groom -- and after consuming sushi, sashimi, tempura, and 48 garlic rolls, we all understood why. Also several rounds of drinks -- including cosmopolitans for us!!! Saturday morning, we all headed for the Orlando History Center. This is Florida, after all, so we were greeted by an alligator -- but Dogdad lifted us out of harm's way. We got a peek in the ladies' dressing room. Here is Sadie, the flower girl, happy with her special hair-do.
And Manolo B's for the bride? Not for this bride! Nothing but the finest sparkly Converses!

This is Aunt Val, who officiated at the wedding, telling Sadie what a nice job she did with the flowers.
And here are the bride and groom, listening to our brother play "Give Me a Kiss to Build a Dream On," while Sadie's mother sang.
A special moment in the ceremony was when the bride and the groom each shared three sips each of three cups of sake as part of a special Japanese ritual called San San Ku Do -- which means three, three, nine. For the last cup, all the adults had their own little sake cups to share in the moment (and the under-adults had their own little cups of Sprite).

Then it was reception time. Instead of numbers, all the tables were marked with the names of space ships. Ours was The Enterprise!
We got to tell the bride how beautiful she looked! And then the dancing began: Stephi with Dogdad. Eric with his mom. And Sadie with a special friend. Cake time! We left out the incriminating icing on nose photos!
A tired but happy bride with her grandma -- the matriarch of our family!
And the next morning at a parents' breakfast!
For their honeymoon, Stephi and Eric are off to Vancouver -- where we hope they will meet up with two of our favorite terriers and their humans!

Sigh, it was an exciting three days -- and we now have a new brother-in-law who gives really good scritches -- even though he specially loves C.A.T.S.

I think you should have been able to go to the wedding. What is a wedding without the best dogs being there? Every wedding needs a some hair of the dog.
