to press our candidacy for inclusion in Bouncing Bertie Boffin's next Earth Science class. He suggested that applicants should be ready for all kinds of weather -- and we hereby attest that neither rain...Nor snow...
can keep us inside.
He also suggested that we not wear frou-frou clothes. But what is more manly than our two oatmeal fisherman's
And finally, he intimated that some familiarity with Scottish customs, such as the wearing of the kilt might be an asset. Remember elegant Just Harry and glamourous Just Martha? And of course, our case would not be complete if we did not take this opportunity to reminisce a bit about one of the proudest moments of Jake's life: when he stood side by side with Hamish at a spectacular nuptial celebration. There's more, so much more, but we hope this pictorial evidence of our commitment will be sufficient to allow us to continue with this exciting programme.

We vote with 12 paws for your application to be accepted. AND by the way, those fisherman knit sweaters are just absolutely stunning on you.

With an application like that how could Bertie possibly bark "no"? Great photos of you both.
Woofs,

You are winners in our book! We love the sweaters too! If E.Rabbitt would knit us those, we would wear them! Hah...maybe she will only knit for the kitteh for a while. One can but hope, right?
Gussie
We love the jumpers! They would definitely keep you warm and then you could wear your rain macs over them if it rains. You two are well prepared.
Hope to see you on the trip!

Oh Boyz, I must say this is a very superior application for my class. Those oatmeal jumpers are just the ticket, you look every inch the British geologist. And no, I haven't overlooked your rapidly developing language skills. Gail tells me she was most confused to arrive in Oklahoma and discover that some kind of a pinafore dress was referrred to as a 'jumper'. Posting a picture of Hamish was a smart move too. I think you stand an excellent chance of findind a place on the minibus.
Well done!
Toodle pip!
Bertie.

Those sweaters are, indeed, most manly. In fact you remind mom of something called Irish Spring.
