Just so you don't forget us...

We looked at the date on our last blog and realized "someone" has not been living up to her responsibilities. We know from the tap tap tap of her fingers on the computer, followed by huge sighs and occasional groans, that she's in one of her project deadline modes. But lest everyone forget us in the meantime until she finishes, we persuaded her to take a few minutes to say hello. As you can see, I help as best I can by watching over her from my bench which is just a few paws from her desk. I make sure she is really working so she gets done as quickly as possible.

And if you look carefully, you'll see that while I recline on my bench, another furry creature who looks a lot like me prefers the lower level.

Yep, that's my silly brother. Gotta' love him though -- he's given up his nightime shower barking and is back in everyone's good graces.

Now get back to work, mom, you hear!!!!
Jake

  10. We just loved those pics guys! We were thinking you would probably need to replace your human but perhaps another chance is in order.
We like that you are keeping an eye on the situation.
Some humans really do require snoopervision.
Now allotments! In the UK (not sure about anywhere else) local councils rent out plots of ground to residents to grow vegetables.
This has been going on for generations and basically you have to apply to the council for an allotment!
Marvin's Jeannie has just become an allotment renter and will be up there planting her seed potatoes etc.
She will be able to tell you more. Our mum's grandad had one - he lived in a flat with no garden. He spent many happy hours on his allotment. He had a shed in which he had a chair, table, books, wee dram etc. Of course there were also some gardening tools!
Our mum tell us that it was his little place in the world where he found peace and he managed to produce the odd vegetable!
    love and kisses

  14. Staring at your Mom while she works is a great idea, that will make her work faster and get it done in record time. I think it will boost her concentration level, too. hee hee
