Farewell to our dear Scottish lad

Having shared a wee dram or two with Hamish, and walked together in our kilts, it is with great sadness that we say farewell to such a wise little pal. He left his loving mom, Gail, suddenly this morning and we join with all his friends in sending her our condolences and love. Jake

And there’s a hand, my trusty fiere !
    and gie's a hand o’ thine !
    And we’ll tak a right gude-willy waught,
    for auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my jo,
    for auld lang syne,

    for auld lang syne.

  14. Thank you so much for posting this tribute to my beloved Hamish. It means so much to me that so many of our blogging friends have taken the time, not just to leave messages, put to put beautiful words and lovely pictures on their blogs.
Hamish was my first ever dog, although I had fantasised about having one for forty years! And in this instance, the reality was even better than the fantasy. I am sure I shall be welcoming a new dog into my home again some time in the future, but for the moment I need to adjust to losing Hamish, and shall continue to take some comfort from reading all about the adventures of his friends from all over the world, including, of course, the Boyz.
    Best wishes,
    Gail.
