Lobster Tale

Brotherly love???? Not when it comes to toy sharing. Here for all to see is what typically happens in our house when I have a toy and Just Harry, who has plenty of toys of his own, decides he has to have the one I'm playing with. Just for the record, we have two lobsters. A red one and a blue one. This morning, while JH was off doing something else, I took the blue lobster from our toy basket and began playing with it. I had just jumped up on the chair, with the toy in my mouth, to settle down for some good squeaking, when you know who appeared at a run. And then the pictures tell it all..

Sigh.

  2. Poor Jake. We have seen the same thing happen here. It is too ugly to post. You are brave to share it with the world!

  3. Horrible scenes like the one you posted happen in our house all the time. It's awful, its scandalous and whomever steals usually pays a huge price (two of us tag-team up against the "toy stealer"). Hang in there!

ps. Nostalgia is no excuse. My ma ape has only known me while I was mature. Don't encourage her puppy love!

  11. Ah, poor Jake. These thing happen. Maybe some day you will have a lobster all to yourself and get to eat it in peace. Boy, that would be a wonderful thing for just about anybody. Hehehe

  13. No justice. I have the same problem. The Relentlessly Huge is only interested in toys that happen to be in my mouth.

  16. Hey, Jake!

Younger sibs are a big pain in the patootie sometimes. One thing you might do in the future is go pick out a toy you don't want, but act like you REALLY do. Once Harry comes to take it from you, reluctantly release it after a faux game of tug, then go get the toy you really want. Be sure to look dejected, and to go to another room in the house with your toy. It seems to work for me with Stella, but then again, she's a big stinkin' goobette.

I am feelin' your pain, man!

    Goober love & smooches,
    Stanley

  17. Oh that is just terrible! Brothers are evil! Moose wishes he had a brother to teal toys from for sure though.
Thanks for the welcome home! We poked around the island a bit, but this was my 5th trip in as many years so have already seen most of it. It is a small island that does not change much!
