Well, today is one year since we persuaded our Mom to channel our inner thoughts on this blog. On June 20, 2007, she first let us press paw to keyboard and introduced us to this amazing community.
On that first post, we were welcomed by several wires who would soon become some of our best pals -- Gussie, Jackson, Lenny, Bussie -- along with other terriers -- Maggie and Ruby. And since then, we have met so many pawsome others that we still cannot believe what a unique bond we have come to share with our fellow canines and their humans around the world.
The first evidence of that bond came just a month later, when Oscar, the adorable Airedale, crossed over the Rainbow Bridge so suddenly, and we witnessed the outpouring of love and compassion to his humans. That was the first of too many times when we shed so many tears that we could hardly see to type, but we felt this powerful emotion that unites all who love us dogs.
On the brighter side, the Christmas card exchange, and all the pawties -- made possible by travel on Aire Ruby and the skills of a few photoshop users, reinforced by a an irresistible love of fantasy and fun -- brought howls of joy and laughter. As did the recent International Goodie Exchange!
We are so tickled to be part of all this. So thank you to everyone who has become part of our lives and made turning on the computer to see what's happened over night such a highlight of our days.

Mistress tells me the Wars of the Squirrels has been going on for years, it is not a new thing. The grey ones have been displacing the red ones for ages. You see the grey ones in the cities quite often.
